QuoteFerguson handed Everton reprieve

Sir Alex Ferguson will be in the dugout for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday despite being hit with a two-match suspension.

United's boss was punished for comments on referee Alan Wiley's fitness after a 2-2 draw with Sunderland in October.

But the Football Association said that the ban does not start until 14 days after last week's disciplinary hearing.

Ferguson will sit in the stands at Portsmouth on 28 November and again for the Carling Cup tie with Tottenham.

So he is in the stand against bottom of the table Portsmouth and for a Carling cup match.

Shocking stuff :D :D ;D

#10563
Official Team:

Van der Sar
Rafael Vidic Brown Evra
Valencia Fletcher Carrick Giggs
Rooney Owen

Subs:Kuszczak, De Laet, Anderson, Scholes, Welbeck, Obertan, Gibson.

Nani & berba don't even make the bench

also no Neville, Hargreaves, Ferdinand,Foster, Park, Fabio, O'Shea or Evans for one reason or another

still a strong looking team ;)

Great to see the continued exclusion of that waster Nani, although his trip away with Portugal midweek might have something to do with it. Apparently he was shit for them too.

What's up with Evans? Probably feeling the effects of the disgraceful chest attack by that animal Drogba.

Handy 3 points. Looks like it will be a 2 horse race for the title. Good to see a variation of goal scorers.

slow corner back

Indeed a few goals from midfield to replace ronnies from the last two seasons is just what the doctor ordered. Is that 4 now for Valencia? Could end the season in double figures.

Nice win. Fletcher's goal was a great goal. United's passing was sublime in the 1st half. Got a bit edgy until Carrick scored the second goal as Everton found belief that they could claim something from it at that stage. Definitely have to say the best team won. Maybe they're clicking into gear. It's two and a half months till another big four meeting, hopefully we can kick on and pick up points now.

Pompey have sacked Paul Hart.   We can expect the the Portsmouth players to play the "game of their lives" that usually follows any manager's parting.
