That was a cracking game yesterday....the ref certainly helped the game....thought he was super overall. A correct call for the penalty by my reading....and one real bad way to loose a game. It reminded me of the Offaly v Kerry game when Darby hit the net with seconds left. Gut renching stuff for Arboe.

QuoteThe O'Neill cup should be renamed the West Tyrone cup.

East Tyrone would need to reform their own league again if they want to start winning something!

Just remind me - who won it last year - my memory is nearly as bad as yours.

Exactly.  A flash-in-the-pan fluke if ever I saw one.

Fair play to dromore, two titles is the least they deserve for their performances over the past few years. Therefor every club east of omagh should give up eh? Reckon someone is still sore from last year, and afraid of all other contenders returning stronger next year.

Wallow in your glory, but don't be an idiot, the only thing worse than a poor loser is a bad winner!

Think I remember reading in Mickey Harte's first book about Gavin Devlin and him being an Ardboe player. Is this correct? As I didn't notice his name in the Irish news What ever has come about of him?

A fantastic final yesterday. Both teams were brilliant. I had accepted defeat with 10 to go but thankfully the Dromore players never did. It was a rollercoaster of highs and lows which I don't think I'll ever be able to explain properly. I think Dromore fitness really showed in the last 5 or 6 minutes. This Dromore team are a product of about 5 years work which stood to them at the end yesterday. I think Ardboe are at the early stages of a long term plan and games like yesterday will help them along that track. Over the last 3 finals I was sure Coalisland and Clonoe wouldn't be contending again in the near future but I think Ardboe certainly will.

He quit playing altogether 2 years ago and is involved with Newbridge in Derry in a coaching / managerial capacity.

Surely Ballygawley's 2 titles should be added to the Errigal Ciaran's total in the Roll of Honour? And Strabane and Fintona should also be joint 11th on the Roll of Honour in spite of the differing club names in the early part of the 20th century?

Thanks for that clarification T86, so it's only taken Dromore 64 years to equal our record of two Championships!  :D

Congrats to Dromore after that clinker yesterday, and commiserations to Ardboe, and as Zap (graciously) said you're at the beginning of something potentially great here, not the end.

At a quick count then that makes 27 teams still awaiting a senior Cship.

Anyone got that tally for the Inter and Junior titles?
