Down missed a bag full of chances. Clarke tries to do too much. Down must have had 65% possession, but it was exciting at the end.

Was talking to a boy at this tonight and he said Clarke needs a toe in the hole as he was looking for the "Hollywood" pass all the time instead of doing the simple stuff well. Maybe the auld head is getting too big...

Complete bollox!  Clarke is 1 of the main reasons Down won.  His "Hollywood" passes where the passes that opened up the Armagh defense when they got lots of men behind the ball.  Watch the match tomorrow night for how many of Down scores came from Clarke passes.  The ball he won back near the end when Fitzpatrick lost the ball and bought a free which he kicked over won the match.
