Great result for Cavan fair play to them beating the langers and well done to the Kindgdom seeing off a late surge from Laois, Kieran Cremin saving a penalty. Tommy Walsh seemed to play well and is another attacking option for this year, Donaghy may have a battle on his hands for the 14 shirt yet, could be a costly finger for him.

I had no vested interest in this game (which is great for a change!!  )

But having said that, I was deeply disappointed when Deegan blew the whistle when he did. They announced two minutes injury time, played 2:30, and almost 1:30 was spent while Forde was on the ground.

Do no refs understand time wasting at all? Cork probably wouldn't have scored, but I hate this aspect of the game, and when a guy I thought was a good ref falls for it I can't help but be annoyed.
