In 2003 Ilen beat all before them to reach the County Intermediate Final, in the final they defeated Carrigaline in Pairc Ui Rinn. They followed that up by going all the way to the All Ireland Intermediate Final and defeating St Michaels of Donegal on Sunday 25th April 2004, the game took place in Portmarnock in Dublin.
Ilen's first game in Senior Championship was against near neighbours and reigning County champions Castlehaven which took place in Skibbereen. The game drew a huge crowd and after a tough battle Ilen came out on top.

Any scores from Monaghan, Kerry or Carlow??

Have done a bet with Glenullin and Cavan Gaels up on it already waiting on last three!

Jinxy

In Meath, Navan O'Mahonys v Senechalstown ended in a draw. Dunno the score but apparently Senechalstown missed a handy free at the death and were by far the better team. They'll probably get hockeyed in the replay now. ::)
If you were any use you'd be playing.
