Yeah but they took a tanking with it that time so had to change it. Different this time.

Waterford don't bore me at all! It's not like the scores are 0-6 to 0-5.

Sweeper system just isn't for me as I think Waterford can hurl without it... I would have used it when manager when up against teams that would have destroyed us, but it wasn't attractive

Agreed. I think they can be much better without it.

The sending off was massive in that game. I wouldn't be 100% that 15 on 15 the outcome would have been the same - it would definitely have been much closer and the defense wouldn't have had those gaps. They were up to speed rightly.
Experienced teams are less likely to get someone sent off I think.

They had a man sent off :o

I would agree hs. I wanted waterford to win but was very impressed by cork's movement and ability to find men in space.

Cork were still very good for a lot of today. The man down massively changed the game. Their pace and movement was impressive though they maybe need a plan b for puckouts as a good few went out of play when waterford tightened up a bit.

Waterford were very good in parts and in parts i wasn't too sure with their sweeper system. 15 on 14 freed up the forwards to go one on one and it was game over. That and gleeson finally started to play. Also maurice shanahan gives them a good scoring outlet which they don't have so much of without him.

GAA Discussion / Re: Tyrone v Dublin - The beginning of an era

It is very hard to know. It could well happen. Tyrone by 2 or dublin by 10 lol.

I don't think tyrone have the scoring power to beat them and while people talk about harte being best player in the country if he is marking jack mccaffrey he will have his work cut out.

I hope i am wrong. Dublin dominating not great for the game but they are dominating and this tyrone team have yet to prove themselves at this level. It is a big step for them.

The detractors have built a list of 21 unanswered questions on farah. He has suspect allegiances with salazar and aden and then some though.

The reality is that endurance sports can have huge gains made in them by pushing "science" boundaries so it will always lend itself to big question marks. Power and speed sports have the steroids aspect too. There are a lot of very probing journalists who jump all over athletes when they make suspect moves. They have been alloverfarah for along timewith a lotof questions.

I do see what you are saying but some have more questions on them than others with farah being one of them.

I get it, Farah is running with a black cloud.. but flip sake!! Ones complaining about Jamaica testing being the worst and doubting them but with the brits being better at testing surely something must come out?

He doesn't live in britain. I get what you get. I just have reservations here. I prefer not to think like that but when your coach writes a paper stating the way to beat the africans is to dope then you are leaving yourself very open to doubters.

So we are assuming? Surely if he was doped up he'd have won?? I think in the main all sports people at some level are on enhancing drugs, be it GAA or Lacrosse unfortunately.. me personally I'll wait till they are caught

That's assuming the people who defeated him aren't. Ethiopia, where farah trains,  has very dubious testing. I prefer to think bolt and even froome not up to their neck in it but farah has a lot of dubious things going on.

The big ethiopian dude broke him then didn't even get a medal.

I would say yes mr. There are too many dodgy connections but unlikely we will ever know.

The bbc commentary on this world athletics championships. With how much maligning they have given gatlin (it would be rightfully so were it applied consistently might i add), what they say about semenya and now radcliffe being an iaaf cheerleader when they are making a farce of this illness outbreak it is getting hard to listen to.

It is country wide thing. Maybe those counties have a couple more but i have seen pretty bad behaviour from one leinster county in particular and not Dublin! It is a success thing too. It even happened in antrim once when we got to the ulster final. Hasn't happened much since mind.
