If you're after the city centre you'll not do much better than Ten Square, it's right behind the city hall. I've never been in it but it looks pretty good and there seems to be a few people about it any time I'm passing, worth a wee look if nothing else I suppose.

If something is a challenge to do and you complete it, like say going off the sauce for Lent, or running a marathon, could that not be seen as character building? Especially if you have to excercise self-discipline and make sacrafices to do it. Granted it depends on the individual, going off drink for a while could be nothing to one person but a complete torture for someone else if they're social beings. Depends on our lifestyles I suppose?

I'm off it 4 weeks today though I'm getting some quare looks about the place as if to say what are you at??  :D I was at a party on saturdy night and I had to tell people my glass of water was vodka and white so they'd give my head peace!

I've never went this long before since I was about 17 and am contemplating taking Lent in too now, I'd probably be better off not cursing though, I'll fell like I'm cheating if I do!!  :P

COD 5 is a really good game, it's tough enough going in places but the action is fantastic. The online options are good too, the Nazi Zombies are a good laugh.

I also got FarCry 2 and Fallout 3, only getting going on FarCry now, it seems pretty good though you'll want time on your hands to get into it. Fallout is meant to be excellent, the wee bro has it for the 360 and loves it, very addictive when you get into it apparently. I'll leave it til I get over FarCry!

Both are going for £20 new in Game, at that price they're worth a rattle, considering smeplaces are still trying to flog Fllout at £45!

It was all looking rosey til the linesman forgot to lift his arm and flag Van Persie!! Win some, lose some, I was in great humour altogether when Hartley scored late on for Celtic two weeks ago! Such is life Milltown! Would've covered a few beers in the Bot tonight though!!

How's it going lads?  I've been looking at this thread for a few weeks and I've decided to put my money where my mouth is so to speak and join up!!

I'm waiting on Chelsea today after Celtic, the Glens and Hoffenheim coming in for me, not wonderful odds, just over 4-1 but it's better than a boot in the spuds!
