Anybody got any recommendations for good places to bring the children to see Santa?  I heard of one near Castlewellan before - is it any good?  Any others that are about?

Pomeroy, but I think it's sold out now.

Innishowen Gateway hotel do a good Santa experience.

Also Doagh Famine Island is good. And you can do a deal with the Ballyliffin hotel.

Was at the Inishowen Gateway one on Saturday past - kids loved it. Great setup

My sister thought Galgorm was a great set up.

Had my 3 at Santa's cottage in Hilltown near Newry on Sunday. Was brilliant and their attention to detail was amazing.

It was first class but arrive well before your time as it can be busy.

We only went to the one at Milford in Armagh as it was for charity. All those other ones are a racket and wouldn't give them my money.

Good for you. :)

Went to Causey Farm near Kells with the kids there on Saturday. I thought it was really good....much better than some of the places we'd been to in recent times. Malahide Castle (2015) and Westport House (2016) were good but I'd have Causey Farm ahead of them. Think it's booked out this year though.

We went to Tayto park, kids very happy with it.

Time flies!

Indeed it does....but I wouldn't be overly sentimental about that period atall. Santa was an annoyin oul balax.
