General discussion / Re: Buying a new car - finance plans

Remember the days when you rented a TV because they were so unreliable that you needed to have someone on call to come out and fix it when it went on the blink? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense with the reliability of modern TVs so businesses like Radio Rentals are a distant memory.  I feel like we've reached the same point with the reliability of cars now. The only reason I'd have to see a mechanic now would be to rotate the wheels, and that's only because I have no way of lifting the whole thing off the ground. Routine oil changes or replacing the headlight bulbs is something I can do myself. I feel like a warranty on a new car would just be a big waste of money.

Can you change a timing belt? Can you service your brakes. Can you change a clutch/flywheel? Have you a diagnostic computer? Can you align your steering? Can you service your suspension?

I could go on...

Denmark and away first, what a great draw.

Yeah, thought that first about playing at away first, but we got most of our points away from home Qualifying!

0-0 borefest in Copenhagen followed by a scrappy 1-0 win in Dublin with a deflected goal after 60 mins and then hang on for last half hour having played terribly in both games

I'd take that!

On reflection the only surprise about Sundays result is how Omagh didnt win by far more?  Errigal are an average team.  They got to the final by beating three teams in the lower half of the league and struggled to beat two of them.

Would an average team not be mid-table as opposed to being clear at the top?

Can Omagh beat Slaughtneil then?

Can't see it. I watched Slaughtneil a few times last year and they are a level above anything in Tyrone. Serious outfit that are extremely well drilled. They did loose a couple of players on Sunday though to red cards so you never know.

Good luck to Omagh though..

Disappointed in the tactics/performance/result today but can't be disappointed in 6 wins and 2 draws in the first 8 games.

Big game on Saturday. Form would suggest a Utd win but I guess that all goes out the window for this fixture.

The key is in the name. GAA board. Some posters on here seem to have little or no interest in anything GAA and are only here to talk shite about soccer/politics/religion. They have no place here IMO.

Took William Hill's 4/1 (enhanced!) odds against Harry to score two or more today! Money in bank after 23 minutes.Seriously running out of superlatives for this lad.To think he was never asked to play for Ireland

He is in serious form. I would guess this is his last season at Spurs. Needs to move on to a bigger club to realise his full potential and win some medals.
