A kick in the teeth for supporters from Croke Park.  They ripped up a perfectly good surface to facilitate a rock concert and replaced it with the surface that coped so poorly in the rain last Sunday.  Is the state of the new surface a factor in the decision to make a more determined effort to exclude fans from the pitch this year?

Before we had the valid reason that the Hogan stand was being rebuilt.

Lets hope that we don't get a soccer/rugbyesque start to games where the teams are lined up to meet the president and then troop past each other shaking hands.
