Messages - Captain Obvious

Bad night for Liverpool in Anfield tonight against the sixth best team in Italy, a blessing the away goal rule no longer applies. Klopp probably won't be too worried knowing he beat Atlanta 5-0 on his last away visit.

A funeral of all places, some love the attention.

QuoteBen Affleck and Jennifer Garner's daughter came out as TRANS during her grandfathers funeral.

Seraphina Rose, 15, announced her new boys name 'Fin' whilst appearing with her head shaved at a memorial service for her grandfather over the weekend

She told the memorial service, which was streamed live on Facebook, "Hello my name is Fin Affleck."

Her father, Ben Affleck is now married to Jennifer Lopez- whose own child Emme is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.

Before you start criticising these Girls.
We have the following ranked teams in our group

England - 2
France - 3
Sweden - 6

We are Ranked 25 and we were ranked 38 at one stage.

We are mixing with the BIG GUNS here.

I posed the question than criticising. Vera Pau did well yet was a lack of respect on her departure.

Quote from: From the Bunker on April 09, 2024, 09:33:34 PMThe Double Treble is on and nobody in the media wants to mention it.
Media don't expect Liverpool to let the Premier league title to slip through their fingers hence why it hasn't been mentioned.

The Media know City are stink with Financial Doping. They don't sell advertising, Papers, etc. And there is not an ounce of romance in the achievements of the team.

I agree soulless club and no side left in the Champions league or FA Cup good enough to beat them. Both Liverpool and Arsenal are currently ahead of them in the Premier league so it's opportunity knocks.

After tonight's results harder challenge for Arsenal to progress now however not impossible. Sake tried his best to win a penalty with a dive in the 5th minute of added time.  Manchester City will be happy with the draw and win this tie in Manchester.

Quote from: Eire90 on April 09, 2024, 03:37:27 PMa number of factors probably at play weather competitiveness of games and competitions lack of real jeopardy cost of living lack of promotion other sports activities.

Liverpool vs United in big match with rugby same day, thats what happens due to earlier championship. Won't be getting any better and the Euros then in June/July

GAA seems to think more matches will even out the smaller crowds

They did the same once stand alone All Ireland Quarter final attendance figures dropped and they gave us the Super 8s.

Arsenal losing at home to out of form Bayern Munich, long way to go in the tie yet however won't need reminding that their title domestic title challenge went into tail spin once they got knocked out of Europe last year.

Quote from: full moon on April 09, 2024, 03:39:13 PMI think Armagh will win it out, particularly with the draw. They also have more on the line here. I would be questioning if Derry go full tilt at this, meanwhile the Dubs and Kerry stroll to the All Ireland semi finals.
It will be Ulster final at best again For Armagh I feel. Well capable of reaching the last eight of the championship via the group stage again and might get the rub of the green in Croke Park this summer compared to the last two years.

Derry football between club and county have serious momentum and they'll know especially Harte that their best chance of winning All Ireland Quarter is first retaining the Ulster championship.  Yes Kerry,Dublin will have the advantage come the All Ireland semi finals so probably best to avoid one of them until the All Ireland final.

Quote from: statto on April 09, 2024, 11:23:17 AMAmorim in talks according to talkport to replace Klopp. Not sure how I feel about this, Man United went down the route of getting a manager who has won trophies in one of the lesser leagues and hasn't really worked.  De Zerbe could be another Graham Potter if got a " big job" no real stand out candidate at the moment for me. Would take Ange over De Zerbe given choice.

Wouldn't compare what has gone on with a poor ran club like Manchester United, even Klopp would have struggled there. If you want a manager with high vibes with a big focus on attacking and little focus on defending which the media love in choose to ignore then Ange Postecoglou is your man however I doubt that style of play will be good enough to retain the Premier league title for Liverpool next season.

It's reported Darren Hughes is home out of hospital tonight and there's nothing broken in his leg. An MRI in the coming days will determine the extent of ligament damage.
