He is some boy!!! He is the main reason I'm heading off to the helix now, fascinating character

How'd it go LE?

Very enjoyable, I got chatting to BC afterwards while we were both outside having a smoke, a gentleman. I have the notes at home and shouldn't even be near this board toady, as I am up to my eyeballs. Will hopefully have a chance to post some of the different views this evening.

Any update Louth Exile? I would be interested to hear what was said at these preview nights. Thinking of going to one in Belfast myself

are the tickets hard to get for this? I was trying to get them online there but they seem to be booked up. How much do they cost?

Well not long till the festival now. This is my first year working over the festival. I was just wondering what do people do in that situation. I have no access to a radio or anything. Its going to be a nightmare. Internet bookmakers are banned. I have Gold Cup day booked off so not all bad I suppose!

Skivers in Spadestown, what's new? Back in Portydown when this song came out originally there was a great parody version. It was called "I don't like Mundies, I'd rather have Sandemans or Buckfast!" ;D

Your Doctor is Dr G by any chance.

Dr Stewart hill street surgery Tony. Hope I dont bump into him in the Monday club this afternoon!

The boomtown rats were right, I dont like Mondays either! I had a doctors appointment today but it was cancelled cause the doctor was sick. Even the doctors in Lurgan phone in sick on a Monday! Maybe he was like me and had a few too many pints of carling yesterday enjoying the spurs! ;)

Would it be advised not to wear any club colours then? Would there be much trouble about after these games?

Im heading over to London at the weekend for the carling cup final. It doesnt look as if i have any chance of getting a ticket so I was wondering where the best place to watch the match would be? Is it worthwhile heading over just to watch the match in a bar?

Im doing my festival bet this weekend. Going to do a £10 yankee. My 4 selections are
trimuph hurdle - francheok
gold cup - kauto star
world hurdle - inglis drever
champion hurdle - sublimity

What do yous think of the chances in succeeding with this bet?

Slavia must be glad to have found their level after their 7-0 thrashing at Arsenal, 5th richest club in the world, in the Champions' League.

Did Arsenal not draw with them in the champions league in the corresponding fixture?

I for one think it makes a pleasant change to see McGuiness and Paisley discussing real issues such as drug/alcohol abuse and suicide prevention. Surely this can only be a good thing even if it only highlights the issue once again. It is a far cry from a few years ago when alll they could do was bicker over petty issues and refuse to budge on anything

I still fancy Sublimity for the champion hurdle. I know Sizing Europe was impressive last time out but I dont think he beat much to be honest. I think Sublimity is being primed for cheltenham and think he will come right. My other festival bankers would be Franchook, Inglis Drever and Kauto Star. Would anyone be able to post latest odds for these horses as I cant access bookmakers sites in work! cheers

Forpadydeplasterer - Ballymore Novice Hurdle

Had 100 on him at 33/1 - now into 16's

Looks like a good call! Whats everyones latest opinion on Cheltenham. Denman was very impressive on saturday. The gold cup is going to be a cracker. Master minded was also mightly impressive. Fancied Twist MAgic for the champion chase but am not so sure now. Either way its going to be a great festival for Nicolls with leading fancies in big races
