No, I think this lad is onto something. Congress should consider. It will improve our games no end!

If a referee makes a decision anyone disagrees with then the club who disagrees with his decision should send a lad on to beat him with a hurl (football or hurling).

That's the way forward.
I agree but a 'Ref Beater' should be put forward by each club at the start of the year. He must be on the sideline wearing a yellow bib. We can't just have anyone running on to beat the ref, that'd be chaos.

In addition, any club who fail to provide a referee should not be allowed to have a Ref Beater.

I take it you are joking? I can never tell with you nordies.  :-\

Making the final would be a small consolation for a season that began with such high hopes only to end with a fight to get into the Euroa League for next season. This is one season I can't wait to end.

There's a case before the European Court demanding the "right" to abortion.

Shocking match yesterday. The worst I've seen in a long while. But at least we took a point home. The run in looks interesting and I'm beging to believe we can do it again!

The decision on Portsmouth could make things very interesting.  If they go out of business, this is how the league would look:

                           PLD    GD     PTS
Chelsea                    24    39    55
Manchester United    23    33    50
Liverpool                   24    19    44
Arsenal                  23    24    43
Tottenham          24    19    40
Manchester City          22    12    38
Aston Villa                  23    11    38
Birmingham          23    -1    34
Everton                  23    -3    29
Fulham                  24    -2    28
Stoke                  23    -5    27
Blackburn                  24    -20    25
Sunderland          23    -10    24
Wigan                  23    -19    24
Burnley                  24    -23    23
Hull                          24    -25    23
Wolves                  23    -21    21
Bolton                  23    -18    19
West Ham                22    -12    17

Where did you get that? Please tell me you didn't work it out yourself!

If they go into administration they are docked 10pts but will still finish the season. The last time an English club didn't finish a season was Accrington Stanley in 1962 I believe.

A misleading title. I thought you meant this guy!

Or this guy.

Or this guy.

Or this guy.

I had to look hard to find this guy.

Will the board be running a Chelenham competition this year? Who looked after it last year?

Thanks. They must be handy enough to get to the final. Good luck to them anyway.

What's the story with Naomb Colm Cille from Tyrone who play in the All Ireland Junior hurling final on Saturday? Where are they from and how long are they on the go?

There wouldn't be many hurling clubs in Tyrone would there? Great achievement to get to an All Ireland final but the LImerick team will be hard to beat. Good luck to hem anyway.

But Arsenal are really lacking confidence after 2 defeats and theire defending is piss poor at the minute. We'll never get a better time to beat them there.

I'm really looking forward to the match tonight with some optimism. I haven't been able to say that since the early days of the season. Recent matches have shown Rafa how to beat the Arsenal and with the new found spirit in the side I fully expect us to win.

3-1 to the Reds!
