John Morrison sent the whole Mayo panel Valentine's day cards one year as well. He thought Paul McGrane to catch ball at its heighest point using balloons

I usually hate these things but only for the reason to end an argument i have decided to start a poll. Do you think that Ollie Murphy's match winning abilities are better than Dessie Dolans consistancy? Both class acts in my eyes I must add

Incidentally Deel rovers, what do you make of Mayo's new jersey? The seem to have stuck a bit more red on the sleeves and lashed it out, bit insulting

GAA Discussion / Re: Croke Park parking
August 07, 2008, 03:25:37 PM
It is in place already. I know that 90 plus cars were clamped on the road last left before Quinns coming in from the North.

The GAA has announced a new Park & Ride service to Croke Park from GAA clubs on the periphery of Dublin starting on Sunday next 20th July. The service is being provided in co-operation with Bus Éireann and will operate from Fingallians GAA club in Swords, Naas GAA club, Bray Emmets GAA club and the Ratoath club. Buses will depart these venues at 12.15 pm and return one hour after the programme of games. The drop-off and pick-up location will be Mountjoy Square close to Croke Park.

Amazing how right footed players don't get criticised so much for being one footed.

I don't think anyone is criticising one footed players. It was a comment

McDonald has all the skills of the game bar teamwork. You'd never see McDonald making a run into space for one of his own to pass into, ....... I think that if McDonald was more of a team player and not a show boater Mayo would have won an All-Ireland during his time.

This video clip of McD shows otherwise ....makes a great run to take a pass and the rest is history....

what are you? A sunday game analyst? Why give one clip showing someone doing something and state it as a fact of what he always does?

:D Hello Kettle i'm pot there you are accusing Furboot of been an anaylst and you accuse Mc D of been quarter footed unreal

Were he has one clip to prove his point, I have every game that McDonald ever played

I love the way McDonald tips with one foot and kicks with the other, does anyone else do this?  Seems to enable him to get his kick away sooner when he spots someone making a run.

But you know its his right he's going to tip it with and his left he's going to kick it with.
McDonald is not only one dfooted but quarter footed, always has to kick with the outside of the left

christ you are a tool its quite obvious you don't like or rate Mc Donald fair enough but to write down that he allways kicks withthe outside of his foot is total bullshit how many times have you actualyy seen him play live?

Well my father is a Ballycastle man and when i'm down I do try to pick up a game, be it crossmolina or whatever, so I've seen a lot of him in person.

Without a shadow of a doubt I'd have Ronan Clarke. McDonald has all the skills of the game bar teamwork. You'd never see McDonald making a run into space for one of his own to pass into, no he has to come out the field and take it of his own team mates from right beside them. I think that if McDonald was more of a team player and not a show boater Mayo would have won an All-Ireland during his time.

Would Dyas have a chance? Obv Clarke and Kennelly are certs.

He only came on as a sub for the dublin minors against Meath so I don't think its fair to put him into the international rules series. Its not a game for young lads anyways

Dyas is from Armagh

Sorry my mistake, should have read the whole thing. Had dias the jack in my head when writting that
