; On a warm summers evenin on a train bound for nowhere,
I met up with the gambler; we were both too tired to sleep.
So we took turns a starin out the window at the darkness
til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak.

He said, son, Ive made a life out of readin peoples faces,
And knowin what their cards were by the way they held their eyes.
So if you dont mind my sayin, I can see youre out of aces.
For a taste of your whiskey Ill give you some advice.

So I handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow.
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression.
Said, if youre gonna play the game, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when youre sittin at the table.
Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

Now evry gambler knows that the secret to survivin
Is knowin what to throw away and knowing what to keep.
cause evry hands a winner and evry hands a loser,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep.

So when hed finished speakin, he turned back towards the window,
Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the darkness the gambler, he broke even.
But in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when youre sittin at the table.
Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count you r money when youre sittin at the table.
Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

Started watching Family Guy at the weekend, fecking brilliant & Ari Gold (Entourage) is probably the funniest character on the box at the minute, he has a few temper issues.

I have to agree with tommygunn, we would be classed as a small club and have had 3 different managers in the last 15 years. When one gets fed up the other steps in but there is only so many ways to say the same things over and over again. We just dont have enough suitable candidates to manage our senior hurling team so at some stage will have to go outside the club and pay someone.

Ulster Senior Football Club Championship Final

4/6 Crossmaglen Rangers 6/1 St Galls 13/8

Outright:
4/7   Crossmaglen Rangers
5/4   St Galls
I had a feeling McGranaghans were going to be hot off the press this week!!  13/8 is a big, big price, though maybe the 5/4 is the better bet?

Aye i think i will go for a bit of 5/4 on St Galls, would be sick as a dog if i took them to win match and was a draw, as a tight match is forecast.

I never thought anybody would be better than Montana but Brady is getting very close. If he can go 19-0, then the discussion is over, he will be the greatest QB ever. Also he's only just turned 30, so he has another few good years left. By the time he retire he could have set records that will never be equalled.

Best team perhaps, Brady does not play Defense or Special Teams.

I would say they were on the losing side because they were shasing the game, i take it none of them had a 100 yard rusher in the game?

Not really a baseball fan and maybe someone can clear this up, obviously the steroids or whatever it is Bonds/Mc Gwire etc were on helped them hit it further, surely they must still be tremendous players as it must take immense hand/eye coordination to hit a fastball coming at you at 100mph and hit it out of the park.

37. Circulate it in primary schools as an illustration of no matter how much financial trouble you get yourself in that if you whine and tell enough lies hopefully you will be bailed out.

If someone was approaching you to strike you then you could swiftly hold the book up and deflect the blow.

It is such a piece of sh1te, I wish it could be boycotted nationwide.

SS2, would it not be rough on Aidso if he misses out? May not be the most skilful but his workrate is immense.
