Eddie wrote some great guitar riffs and will be fondly remembered for his distinctive guitars with the feg hanging out the end.

Sadly it was throat cancer that got him...

Can't believe the news about Johnny Curran. It has just came as a bolt from the blue even amongst this age of focus on health and deaths.

Thoughts are with his partner and young kids.

I'm really struggling all day to get the head round this news. That poor family. One of them deaths that stop you in your tracks. Can all get annoyed with football and all the rest but at the end of the day it doesn't mean a thing.

We'd a club mate that died of a massive heart attack during the week, 38 years old.... it's impossible to take on board how his family will get through this..

Today's at his return home, it was brutal and will be impossible to forget the pain etched in their faces.

Hasn't come to my door yet, on the horizon of course for everyone but the suddenness of these types of deaths leave you questioning things. 
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Spencer Davis aged 81. RIP. Leader of one of the most influential bands to ever come out of Birmingham. Thanks for my favourite record of all time.
