Amazing keyboard player.

Jebus - perhaps - but some of his solos seemd to go on for months. I suppose it was the times that were in it and if you were listening stoned, man, to his efforts on, mar shampla, Riders on the Storm, I am sure you would have been at one with the gods.

Wrestling great, Mick McManus has died aged 93. Many a Saturday afternoon I sat screaming at a TV set as I sat eating grub much to the annoyance of my mother! RIP Mick, That's all grapple fans!

I remember him too, on the black & white television set.

European food hadn't arrived at our house then, so the Saturday dinner would have been things like:
- Bacon, cabbage and spuds
- Sausage, turnip and spuds
- Irish stew (with mutton, carrots and spuds)
- Liver, peas and spuds

Same as, and I still love those dinners now. :)

From what I remember he was usually the baddie, and the old women especially, would be going mental, brandishing walking sticks, brollys and any other instrument that came to hand.

Sad to hear about Brian Greenhoff, his brother Jimmy was a big favourite of mine when he played for Birmingham.
