I bought a new house on the 7th January, put 300 litres in the tank (which was empty) and still going.  The heating is on for about 2 hours in the morning, and programmed from 5 to ten in the evening but I would have turned it off after two hours most evenings.

Last week I changed the timer though.  The water was previously heated for an hour in the morning and hour in the evening too.  I have changed as I only need an hour of water heated in the morning as it does the whole day, and only need the heating on for an hour in the morning and hour in the evening too.

The room thermostats obviously play a major role in how long it will last, as well as how long you have the heating on per day.  I dunno how anyone could sustain to keep the heating on the majority of the day, and I know ones that do.  It helps that I light the fire every night now so don't need the heating on apart from that one hour.

The previous house I was in cost me a fortune, 300 litres would barley last 2 or 3 weeks.  There was a while draft through the hall and into the living room, and the room thermostat was in the hall therefore the heating never kicked off at the desired temperature and once I turned the heating off the house was freezing within 20 minutes.  Glad I got out of that house.

All in all, 900 litres seems to be way too much to have burnt in such a short time, maybe the burner needs serviced and what temperature is your room thermostats at?
i have underfloor heating which i have only now started to turn on a 5 in the morn til bout 9 in the morn, also i've turned down the burner to its lowest settings (55) The thermostats are at about 20 - 25. Plus the boys i bought the last oil would'nt have the best rep

My oil has just run out  ???

The last fill of oil i got was 15th Jan 900 lts, 7 fecking weeks ago.

Was wondering how this compares to everyone else? i know there are variables to be allowed for but in general does this not sound alot.

never had much bother with the throat until a couple of years ago (now in mid 30's) used to get one every 6 weeks, doc said tonsillitis, and asked if i had any small children that were teething, and funny enough i had, he blamed the weans and said i was likely to keep having throat trouble till the weans stopped teething, which it did, now have no bother

was sort of cash is on the table for nando

Where has the figures mentioned about Andy Carroll come from, 30mill, can't get my head round that figure
#9
50mil, bye bye nando :-\
whats the point in players having contracts, they are nearly worthless, they should be made play for 10 grand a week and they get the rest at the end of there contracts, going by the serious of events that has happened, looks if Chelsea tapped him up

I'd be shocked if Torres goes to be honest, yes he was shit under woy, and probably pissed off with the way the club was run by bill & ben and the lack of investment in the team, but now the whole dynamic of the club is changing, woy is gone, bill & ben are gone, the debt is gone, new manager, new owners with actual money and willing to invest, and since the king has come back, his performanes have improved, to me it makes no sense for Torres to go, all that it is all the minute is his crazy agent & sky tv with there hi tec gizmo's making noises, the bid was rejected straight away with a not for sale statement, why would FSG spent 23mill on a strike partner and then sell torres when financially we don't have to, surly for Chelsea the time to strike was when woy was in charge and the price would have been lower, i like the way FSG do there business, they are very different to what we had before, everything they have said so far theyhave delivered, and one of the 1st things they said was that Torres was not for sale, I'll take there word over Sky tv

Lads, we could discuss the pros and cons of any manager, bottom line is woy has to go, and has to go now, he's tried his best and failed, now, who is best suited to come in and do a job, i don't know, but i think that the owners will have to act swiftly and try to bring a conclusion to the situation before the month of January is over and we are involved in a relegation battle
