I don't care. Just something different. A relegation battle would be exciting. 22 years is too long.  Give someone else a go.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

You will always get a smile from the outsiders on the next manager list.

Mick McCarthy available at 200/1 for the Arsenal job, Alan Curbishley 250/1.

Brendan Rodgers would be a good fit in my opinion.

You have to be joking. Replacing a Rolls-Royce with a hatchback springs to mind. If you're moving on a manager as good as Wenger you damn well better have a better candidate in mind than Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers may not be a Rolls Royce but his record is better than many on the shortlist being touted.  Don't forget Wenger was a nobody when he took the Arsenal job.

Not good enough for Liverpool so why would Arsenal take him!

That sounds like a nearly perfect role for Wenger. He'd be getting the keys to a true ultra-power in terms of financial strength. He could easily win the European Cup that has eluded him thus far and he'd be returning home a hero after decades aboard. Depends on if he's willing to take a more operational and executive role or still wants to manage, though.

Big game on Thursday. Hoping Ozil and Wilshere are added to the squad ok. In recent years Arsenal have flopped when the presure is really on in Europe, often over by half time - hopefully the back 4 or 5 or 3 play beyond their norm for Arsene's last home game in Europe at this club.

Its looking like Wengers replacement will be Luis Enrique.
