Quote from: sam03/05 on May 18, 2024, 08:03:08 PMThought Hartes comments after the game were a disgrace. Said he didn't see mckinless incident , but then proceeded to accuse Comer of making a meal of it and theatrics.
It was as  blatant a red card as seen at a game & it more or less ended Comers involvement in the game. McKinless deserves a lengthy ban for it

Didn't Gavin  Devlin get 3 months for similar  back in the day?

Don't know about back in the day by according to the rules it looks like a two game ban the max McKinless will get.

FT Galway 2-14 Derry 0-15.  Galway unbeaten championship record goes on against Derry and in a good position to top the group now.  As for Derry they'll look back on what might have been if they weren't down to 14 men from the 22nd minute.

Goal for Galway they lead 2-13 to 0-13.
#5
Cork 1-6 Clare 0-4 half time.

Result Cork: 1-13  Clare: 1-11
#6
Galway 1-10 Derry 0-9 with 50 minutes played

Half time Galway 0-8 Derry 0-6.  Shades of Galway's round one group game last year when it was a 14 man Tyrone for more than half the game they faced.

Low key stuff thus far between Galway and Derry 0-4 each.  A red card for Derry.

Mayo 0-9 Cavan 0-5 at half time.  Comfortable win for Mayo 0-20 to 1-8

One change for Galway. Matthew Tierney replaces Cein Darcy.

Two changes for Derry. Out go Conor Doherty and Eoin McEvoy. In come Emmett Bradley and Declan Cassidy

A very different and more focused Kerry for this round 1 group game compared to last year. Lesson learnt whereby they could easily have missed out on top spot with that defeat.

Half time Kerry 0-15 Monaghan 0-2.
Full time Kerry 0-24 Monaghan: 1-11

Quote from: J70 on May 17, 2024, 02:41:18 PMCity's PL form since the turn of the year:

P18 W15 D3 L0

Regular as clockwork.

Draws with Liverpool and Arsenal. Not sure on the other.

1-1 with Chelsea at home.

Arsenal will likely look back on that draw against City now, a match they played defensive in and never really pushed for the win.
Dont agree with that any team will take a point at City before game starts bad losses to Fulham and Villa are what has put them in this position. May not be over though, the Aguerooo moment City needed to win against a rank bad QPR team and tried their best to make a meal of it.  West Ham probably owe it to Moyes to put in a performance last day and they do have some quality at top end of pitch.

Maybe so but how the table would had looked going into the final day had Arsenal beaten instead of drawn with City.

Arsenal 88
City 87

It's 2015 since West Ham avoided defeat away to City and have to go back to 2012 since a Moyes managed team got a result in that venue which was 1-1 with Everton. I doubt those records will change this Sunday.
