Liverpool club statement: "We deny that any of our fans shouted any racial abuse at an Oldham player, but we fully support them if they did"

Its sickening that 'fans' of rival clubs are trying to score cheap points out of a highly emotive situation. I suppose it says alot about the character of the person who posts such drivel.

Fair f**ks to him, no point in earning all that money and not being able to enjoy it ha ha

Gonna be BIG changes at OT this summer...

Biggest I'd bet is SAF to stand down without much warning. 3 more years could be a smokescreen and the team / squad badly need a major overhaul.

Yeah could see it myself, with maureen coming in to take over.

Good cup game tonight, nice to get 5 goals.

Downing & Shelvey will be delighted to break their duck, and AC will be happy to get his 1st at anfield this season.

Very bad. At the start of the week I thought Liverpool might draw with city and Utd would beat Newcastle to go 2 clear.  :-\

No longer joint top   :( TBH City's 48pts from 20 games is impressive total! it took them a further 6 games to reach that total last season.

Newcastle away tomoro night would be nice to see Fergie playing players in proper positions, any type of win for Man united will be a good one.

not since before the first ball was kicked this year

Offside goal, these things balance themselves out over the course of a season- which means city are due a bit of luck.
