General discussion / Re: TV Show recommendations

Just finished Mare of Easttown and I wont be recommending it. A bog standard episode of Law and Order beats it. Very overrated imo.

Serbia a big game. They are in a very poor run of form themselves. Get a result there and would build momentum set us up for a tilt at 2nd. But it is a weak Irish squad. Lose in Serbia and arse could fall out of it. Can see us struggle against Azerbaijan and Lux even tbh.

To me it looks like he is using that English episode as an opportunity to jump ship. He hasnt shown much loyalty to the manager anyway. Or maybe there were just too many dinosaurs in the FAI for him.

He is brutal. Darragh Maloney infinitely better.

Excellent podcast, I hope its not binned now because of this. Accidents happen in a small operation like that but someone nailed him before he could clean it up.

Calm down. What was meant was there are sometimes softer World Titkes won when boxing against Japanese fighters who have strong domestic records. TJ Dohenys for example. Wayne McCullough to a lesser extent. My overall point is that Herrings CV is not as stellar as one may think.

Yah, i doubt he would even spar him . Late replacement. Be interesting to see if they go ahead with Herring without a crowd. Herring towers over Frampton sizewise  but his record isnt all that. Beat a Japanese to get his strap.

Mcgill came across well in postgame interview te the incident. Storm in a teacup. Re quality, i much prefer these tense close matches than the heavy scoring ones where you know frame over once they get in.

I honestly dont think hes into sport. He doesnt understand most of it for a start. His deleted tweets illustrate that. Its more about just taking people down a peg or two. Via google. Find a bit of dirt on a successful sportsperson and then make relentless accusations and arguments in order to tarnish their reputations. If you are not whiter than white in your personal life, watch out, Ewans gonna spout. No stranger to making stuff up either, my own favourite was when he told everyone on another forum that 2 Kildare players were legless drunk the night before a Super 8 match. And he was in Brazil yet he had no problem posting this absolute madeup bullshit on a public forum. He will read all this too as he scours messageboards looking for material that he can quote as first person stuff on twitter.

Brady was shite the other night and not plsying near standard of lads out there tinight. Byrne plays agsinst amateurs every other week. Cullen never played a competitive international. Robinson gets his game. I dunno what you see on the bench thst will make many improvements to how well Ireland played today. Best performance in years.

Great effort tonight. Mcgoldrick makes a huge difference. Gonna be hard now with one from four.

Hard for the recently deceased to contradict one of Joe's yarns. I doubt Gay Byrne would know who he was, and particularly when in the nip.
