Quote........an ill-founded accusation that Sean Cavanagh is a 'diver'

Tell that to Padraig Ó Kane - think back to Casement Park 2003!

QuoteArmagh team for sunday:
Armagh: C McKinney, A Mallon, E McNulty, F Moriarty, P McCreesh, C McKeever, T McClelland, G Swift, C Vernon, P Toal, J Lavery, M O'Rourke, S McDonnell, P Keenan, M O'Rourke

Interesting; glad to see Martin O'Rourke still there.

I never thought I'd be saying this but "well done" A4SA.  It's but right that this trumped up charge against a GAA star was thrown out and this good news is certainly not out of place on this Board.

QuoteThe man himself, being the hallion that he is. Did you see the way he went down in the game today? This is from the guy who is supposed to be a hard man. I can tell you this if this would have happened to Bellew he would have took it and moved on.I know Donaldson got a hop ball for it but it is just so pathetic and laughable to watch.
A good dive but not as good as Gormley's in the first half last night!!

QuoteHowever its nice to have like men like Mulgrew, Cavanagh, Marlowe, Carlin, Cavlan, Hughes, McCaul . These players would get into any county team in the land.

The Head groundsman is seemingly livid with the state of the pitch after the Rugby match on it yesterday. He is annoyed that he is going to have to spend 2 whole days fertilising it.

However Steve Staunton told him not to bother as he was going to be putting sh1t on it shortly

Tut tut, plagiarised from this morning's Tom Humphries Locker-room which I thoroughly enjoyed!

Thanks for the report Uladh even though it is laced with some pessimism (realism?). I'm with you on the issue of M O'Rourke; sure he made mistakes but he always gives it a lash which is more than you say about most of the rest of the forwards. Has Kernan a thing about the O'Rourkes? Martin is often substituted during games and Aiden, who would certainly be in my panel, told me recently that he doesn't kow why he was dropped; having him at CHB yesterday and on occasions last year could have helped.
As well as needing more scoring options up front we also have a gap at mid-field; Loughran isn't near the mark and I don't think young Swift is either. I had hopess last year for Mackin but they evaporated.
I know it's only February, but I'm depressed.
