How much is a shipping container now?
For building materials?
You would get a decent second hand one for c£3k, you would actually get a used curtain side trailer for less

GAA Discussion / Re: Kerry Cynical Play

Count the number of yellow cards the Kerry forwards get to see how cynical they are. I think it was 4 out of the 6 forwards yday, they stop the play before the other team can build. David Clifford gets a yellow almost every game

I have a bit of a portfolio I built up over 25 years, don't work on the public sector so my properties are my pension,  so well experienced in the game. One thing I would always argue is a good tenant is much better than a good weekly rent. I have a couple of properties that have tenants in them for 15 years, they are paying 30% below the market price but covering the mortgages and give no trouble, too good to push out. I have a Romanian family in a house I used to rent to students, much less hassle and very good tenants.  It's not a game for everyone and I got in at the right time but you don't always win with them all so need to be prepared for bumps in the road.

Is Larry Strain definitely still with Omagh, I had heard he had stepped down but don't know how reliable the source

Great crowd at the game, Omagh were superbly drilled and tackling was first class. Trinity were much more physical but didn't seem to gel, Omagh definitely the better team. Fair play. Omagh have underachieved recently but great to see them back at the top of the pile

Those were always the correct grades to play however Feile is still u15 and County minors are u17. Those need resolved also. Antrim stuck with odd numbers for the year so St Paul's will be u17 also.

We just need to see the least worst option for the fixtures.

Option 1
U12, U16 & U20 now with U14 & U18 in the summer
Lads aged 12/13 and 16/17 suffer a 13 month break from u13/u17 ended last year.
U15 competition for Feile will have to be run along side u16's.
Lads aged 18 will be in College before minors finish.

Option 2
U14 & U18 now with U12, U16 in the summer
Forget about u20's as club leagues will be up and running
U18's get messed about by progress of County u17's.

At least grading will be easy to resolve. Same as last year unless you won or finished bottom.
Where did you see that St Paul's sticking with U17?
Antrim are sticking with u17 for another year so I am assuming they will do the same as it is still the mandated national age level.

What direction are you likely to go with the Paul McGirr?
I would imagine U16 like it always was. Problem is fitting it in the calendar with schools taking priority in winter months

well I'm saying 15s as it was set in stone in terms of a start date and teams fully preparing for

keeping it may cause less disruption and allow most other even ages to come in..maybe throw in a 14 championship later in year ?

just suggesting

Nothing has been set in stone. Clubs have known this vote has been coming for weeks. It's actually shame on the county board for allowing it to carry on so long without taking the clubs in to have the vote to make plans.

They have been dragging their heels, creating this delay. Maybe there is no appetite for in in Garvaghy or the fact there is no CCC chairperson in place has left them without a decision maker. This delay falls on Sludden
Clubs and the county board knlynlearned last weekend about the option to change, clubs had 9 days to think about it, vote tonight and hopefully new dates out by weekend. I can't see how we could have moved any quicker than that
