Heading to Dunboyne later this summer. Is there a par 3 or pitch n put near the town?

There's a few in Lucan which is only about 5 miles away.

Austin and Mick Lyons are two cousins who enjoy their sport. Both men have played at the top most level of gaelic football for the county of Meath. They have brought this desire to win, appreciation of a challenge, and absolute commitment on the field of sport to this exciting new golf course.

Starting in February 2002, the site consisted of rolling grassland, several natural springs, 3 ponds, several furze covered natural hillocks and 3 recorded archaeological sites. It is these factors which have influenced the design of the course and this natural form has enabled it to be one of the most exciting new golf courses in Ireland.

That clonlee one is members only?

Only saw that now Tyrone man - the one beside me in Dunshaughlin is a 10 min drive from Dunboyne and a lovely course and definitely accepts visitors and green fees.

PS - They are very welcoming people there as well - they've even partially accepted us Dubs

Both are excellent courses but they are not par 3s.  The one at Clonee isn't open to the general public. You have to be a member of an affiliated P&P club to play there.
I've played both and they are as good as any P&P course I've come across.
There's a very decent par 3 in Balheary, north of Swords. Heading north on the Swords bypass, (not the M1) take a left turn about 500 yards past the last roundabout. Watch out for the sign for the Emaus retreat centre jus before you turn. Drive on until you meet a T junction and turn right. 
The city council course on Ballyboggan Road in the Tolka valley is another but it's really only an extended P&P course. There's another in Ballymana, right beside Shamrock Rovers' training ground and it's quite long but hard to get at.
