The previous iteration of the league at the top level was far more cut-throat with proper relegation etc etc and they went and changed it.

Whilst Antrim have produced a big result in the Leinster championship, the players and those same kids know their best route to an AI Final is with their clubs.

Club hurling is still king in Antrim.

Could they use div 1 in the hurling league as some championship incentive. Most of the Munster teams are in it anyway. The league is like a mini munster championship. Get rid of this cup that provincial. Before they know it they will have very few games.
