Title: Green Buttons/Red Poppy Buttonholes
Post by: Denn Forever on October 25, 2010, 05:17:39 PM
It is around this time that we see TV personalities, newsreaders etc. wearing red poppies.  I have noticed people wearing Green Buttons/Badges recently.

Are these one and the same or what do these Green Buttons/Badges mean?

Not that bothered at all - I don't see many where I am and at least I know the people I do see wearing them aren't doing so to rub people's faces in it.

In the UK, the protection of animals has Royal approval (RSPCA) but the protection of children does not (NSPCC). Why is that?

What's the equivalent in the free state?

I'm thinking of setting up the SPFLA (Society for the Protection of Five Letter Acronyms)
