The slow decent from summer highs of inter-provincial rivalries to autumn discussions of who's looking good for the Armagh junior b title has begun in earnest.

You really love Armagh, don't you? You talk more about them than you do your own county.

I believe Fermanagh has the fewest number of clubs of any county in the country.  There are about 20 football and three hurling clubs.

Sleater

Monaghan junior FC final is between Blackhill and Emyvale. Blackhill have suprisingly been the form team in junior, but Emyvale's brilliant young minors may carry them over the line.

Monaghan intermediate FC will be closer with league pace  setters, Truagh, having to negotiate the back door route. They are still a formidable team in the competition but Dick Clerkin's Currin are the dark horses. If  they keep their first 15 fit, they'll win it out but they have a paper thin squad where as Truagh have greater strength in depth.

Proud to say my own club, Portadown Tir Na Nog are in the Armagh Intermediate Championship semi finals, having won the the league unbeaten, which means that they are unbeaten in seventeen league and championship matches this season, and are two games away from an historic double and an unbeaten all season record.
