I did a bit of research there man in black and indeed you are correct.

Section 72 of the Highway Act 1835, amended by Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1888 states you could fined £30 if caught cycling on the footpath.

However, it is against the law to cycle in a busy intersection.

Many apologises man in black.  :-*

Na, am too old for nightclubs

And therefore should be old enough to know that cyclists deserve a break as well.

Who are you tell tell me what I should & shouldnt know?
Poor cyclists ::)  :D

Well i made the assumption you had a brain. Sorry

Yeah,
If I dont agree with you or dont think that cyclists should be 'given' a break, I therefore do not have a brain ::)
If there is a cyclist path, the cyclists should be on it.....................no on the road

have you ever ridden a bike on a cycle path ?

Yeah

And was this path continious where a cyclist wouldnt have to dismount or slow down for  say 3 or 4 miles ? Na didnt think so.

What is so urgent in your life that you cannot slow down for a few seconds to get past a cyclist. What are your objections to cyclists on the road exactly ? And for jesus sake dont say road tax as that puts you straight in idiot category

They could break their necks, if they were cycling on the roads. Best to use the cycle lanes on the footpaths.

Why is it best that they use footpaths ? A cyclist has every right to be on the road, and chances are they are more responsible road users than the t**ts that think they shouldnt be there.

Does that include the pricks who cycle beside each other?

I thought I was going to have to go and ask the neighbour for help getting the jeans off me!

I dont mind cyclists generally being on the road if they stay in to the side but the dopey assholes, who cycle on the middle of the road, and who must think they're driving cars! annoy me!
