Puckoons Shrimp and lobster bisque:

Pan fry half a finely chopped onion (or some shallots) with 2 slices of finely chopped bacon with a tblspoon of olive oil, a clump of garlic paste, and a good dose of of red pepper flakes (the ones you've saved from the dominos pizza boxes). Add one can of diced tomatoes, a good lash of white wine and a blast of chicken stock. Bring to the boil. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes. Whack it all in a blender. When its all blended up, stick it back in the pan and add some cooked prawns and some lobster/crabmeat/fish if you have it to hand. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Then add a decent jag of cream to the mix, let simmer (dont boil) for another 10 mins. Add salt and paprika to taste.

Serve with a fresh crusty loaf and a nice cold white wine.

Bingo.
