General discussion / Directions Thread
« on: March 30, 2012, 04:39:41 PM »
Didn't know where to put this.

I was looking some help from the metropolitans on the board. I'm travelling to Dublin by train to Connolly Station on Sunday. What's the best way of getting from here to Pearse Street. Is it walkable or what's the best form of public transport to take?

General discussion / Retrieving Text Messages
« on: January 04, 2012, 11:33:48 AM »
I know someone who may have to go to court over an issue and the main help to the case would be text messages which have since been lost with the change over of a phone plus some that were deleted. Is there any way of retrieving these through your operator or are they just lost forever?

General discussion / Lyoness Loyality Cards
« on: November 23, 2011, 10:10:29 AM »

My first impression is its a pyramid scheme??? Maybe I'm just being sceptical!

General discussion / Stephen Lawrence Trial

IMO those hooligans murdered the lad but this is my question:

Should they not have admitted it at the time (when it was commonly known in their locality that they did it) and if they were repenting and reformed characters they would be out by now and possiblt be able to make some sort of mense for what they had done!
Its bound have been some burden (good enough for them too) carrying that around with them for so long!

Anyone watching this?

The lad from Coleraine seems to be annoying already
Wish the black lad had of stayed because he looked like he would be a good character - real del boy!

I think it will be an insight into the minds of the youth today! SCARY!

General discussion / Halloween 2011

Not big in to dressing up but have to go to a halloween party with the woman! Any ideas for what to dress up - could do a joint effort but happy enough to go as unrelated things!

General discussion / Contract Hire Company Cars
« on: October 05, 2011, 12:09:32 PM »
Anyone have any opinions of these? They seem to be a good option at the minute to get company cars for a fixed term on a monthly payment with them maintaining the car for you as well.

General discussion / Decent Clothes
« on: July 05, 2011, 04:25:39 PM »
Am i getting older and crankier or is the quality of clothes getting poorer??

Even though I like my labels i'm not that hung up on them but the one thing that I really hate is the fact that I can't seem to get a good suit anywhere in particular trousers.
Anyone any suggestions on good brands or outlets for this?

General discussion / Hydes or Sense? (Glenavon - Cookstown)
« on: February 25, 2011, 11:52:09 AM »
Thought I'd start a thread for anyone who knows. Which did/do you like best:

Hydes Nightclub: No Queues; Reasonable door tax; sticky carpet; no VIP area - all customers are equal; dancefloor mayhem; cocktail bar filthy women; w*nker bouncers

SENSE: Mile long queues for no reason; fancy decor; yuppy blazer wearing customers; women too stuck up to talk to; VIP area for rugby players; severe door tax; filthy women; w*nker bouncers

I think you know which i prefer - bring back the old glen pen!  ;D
