Omagh have 6 county men as far as im aware so would be worst hit...regardless this shouldnt be allowed to happen. If tyrone win cant see MH allowing it to happen - tyrone up again on 15th june and 2 tough games played in a week..clubs need to make a stand regardless, as you say their being asked to play the biggest game of their season without adequate preparation and availability of their star players.
Looked like Mccann done a hammer yesterday, so mayve been unavailable for his club this week if their game had went ahead.

Not a chance the Championship will go ahead.

I'd say teamtalkmag aren't far away with their prediction - all played over the 5 days! Either they get a round played next weekend or it won't be played until Tyrone are out.

And that is the problem with the Tyrone CCC and every fecking other CCC! It's ok for the clubs to get shafted, with the players they have developed not getting any time with the club before their own championship game, our in Tyrone's  case presently have played two games in 8 days with the county team prior to the 4/5 days they get before the club game, but it would never be consider appropriate for a county team. absolutely stinking. But here's the thing, all u club men there, suck it up, cause you won't do a thing about it. Now if you have county players, and you loose next week take it easy on your players and your team, and I guess your manager, as they have been given zero prep time

Would any of the lads not getting game time consider going back to club training for a night this week? If your club are defending champions you have a massive game coming in a few days. When are players expected to get up to speed on pattern of play, kick outs, marking responsibilities etc?

hugh the root

Did you ever see the state of some of the people on the Tyrone CCC ....... Enough said!

time ticking away

Championship going ahead next weekend !!!

The Trap

Rush it through, tick the box and back to the county......happening everywhere.......Kilmacud Crokes have 100 adult footballers and were beat in the Dublin championship last week......club season basically over at start of May........nobody cares.......another £150k from Newry on Saturday night......Ulster Council delighted........surely some day soon club players will make a stand....where is that boy O'Neill who started the GPA?????????????

Very unfair on the teams with county men that are out next week.

We play Clonoe on Friday week. We will probably have 3 starters on Saturday. Clonoe will probably have none. >:( >:(

I know, we cant figure that one out either, but we have three on the panel training and togging out on match days the same as your three.
What must Omagh be thinking, 6 men on the panel and not near their team for three weeks. Disgusting

blackball

When should the club championship be played then?

blewuporstuffed

In the original fixtures, any club playing in the first championship weekend only had a weeks rest anyway, so its no different, its only the clubs that had been fixed for the second weekend that now have the same recovery time as those teams
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either
