On Easter weekend Tyrone minors play on the Saturday in Ulster League and Tyrone Seniors play on Sunday against Monaghan. If Holy Trinity win their semi final i think they will play their All Ireland final that weekend and if Tyrone under 21s keep winning (could be put out tonight!) they will be playing on the Wednesday after Easter. Thats a pretty busy time to try and fit in a round of fixtures. Could the fixture planners not just make a call on this now and say there will be no league games that weekend so people dont have to book off work?????

Was just looking at the fixtures, do you think games will go ahead on Easter Tuesday? I will be working (the Bank Hols are actually Friday and Monday) and might need to look at getting off early. Is this not a problem for a lot of people???

What do EC make of their new appointment? Had heard another EC (Eamon Cavanagh) was interested.....would have thought he has more experience than Ronan McGuckin and this is a big job. When we have played EC in last couple of years they are definitely not the force of a few years ago though i dont think they are that far off either (standards have dropped in general).
Heard a whiff of Paddy Tally for Carmen, anybody else hear that? And Tiffy maybe going back to Omagh?
That would be all the top jobs fillled if McIvor stays on at Dromore which i think he is. Means next year the battle for honours will be between Dromore, Clonoe, EC, Omagh, Coalisland, Carmen and Ardboe. Can anybody see a club from outside this group challenging in the next few years?

You are a long time retired you know!!!!
Is O'Hagan away from Coalisland? Would be surprised!
I heard Johnny McBride linked to Ardboe, Pascal Canavan to Moortown, Austin Kelly to Moy.......Errigal, Omagh, Eglish, Aghyaran, Galbally need new managers and according to the site Carrickmore and Kildress too.
Who are the up and coming/established managers around who could fill these rolls? If there is so much money in it why are people not falling over themselves for these jobs?
Who would people like to see in charge at their club?

I think the biggest comment to come out of todays interview was Brian's take on the effort that Dublin put in this year and in how difficult it will be to match that. I have heard that McCusker doesnt really want to play county, some lads are bound to be put off by the type of life you are expected to live. I get a feeling the hunger has gone out of the county, we have had our 3 All Irelands and the people arent as hungry for it any more. Yes we all like to go to Croke Park for big games but do our players want to train twice a day and live like monks to get there?

It wouldnt surprise me if they were at it again. Sure the county board have just shown them that they can get way with it. Made a phone call and heard an esteemed referee was involved........the people of Louth would love to have seen him get a belt!!!!

Who are Damian Harvey and Ciaran McLaughlin trying to kid? Toughest sanctions ever handed out :). They might be able to fool the media but the ordinary man on the ground know that they have completely chickened out. Hiding behind this "452 weeks" is an absolute joke.
The 8 supporters will go to any game they want, the McCallan's were probably going to retire anyway and Collie McGurk wont miss a game. I dont really want to see clubs and players suspended but i do want to see fair play across the board. If this was two smaller clubs they would have had the book thrown at them.
As for Conor Gormley getting off completely........i would like to know if those watching the video need to go to specsavers or did the county manager get involved to save him?
I really would like someone in the media to be brave enough to voice the opinion of the majority of gaels in Tyrone......they are pi**ed off with how some clubs can do what they want and get away with it!

So how is Division 1 going to work next year? Once Carrickmore and Dromore get to 12/14 points whats the point in them winning any more. The clubs that play them in the second half of the league will have a massive advantage over those that play them at the start, affecting both the top and bottom of the league! The whole thing will be a farce IMO.
People will say they are proud clubs, that they will be preparing for championship and so on, but we have seen so many clubs accused of "giving" points in the past and i predict a total farce at the end of next year.
And wait to you see when the clubs of those people who make up the fixtures will be playing Dromore and Carrickmore.........wont be in the first half of league anyway :).......
Just get rid of top 4 anyway and then this incident would not have happened!

452 weeks of which 384 dont really count! Who really thinks the 8 supporters will not be allowed into a game? I mean if they turn up at our club next year who is going to stop them from going in? Would be very difficult as we dont know their names or what they look like!!! :)

Is this now the precedent for such offences? Must get to the gym over the winter to get ready for watching games next year :)

I would say most of those clubs will appoint outside managers - even clubs with inside managers have trainers/selectors etc from 'outside'. Apart from a couple of big name managers i dont think the 'expenses' are too serious.
Is McBride definitely away from Carmen and McBride from Galbally? You would have thought they did quite well this year. Was this their choice or the clubs?
Who is in the running for Errigle and Omagh? Think McIvor is staying with Dromore.....

Can anyone confirm what punishment Ardboe and Omagh got all those years ago? Ballinderry got a ban in late 80s and they really changed their attitude afterwards, and gained lots of success. Ardboe changed their ways too and became a really good fottball team. If the correct punishments are handed out maybe the clubs involved will change their ways, all other clubs will take heed and Tyrone football will be the winner!

Why dont they bring the finals forward instead of putting them back?? Is that not what everybody wants......give more time for clubs to fit their games in........oh well as long as the county teams are ok and they dont lose out on any money!!!!
