The €350 issue in the south highlights how wrong it is that a lot of people can be better off not working, compared to their normal full time job.  There's something fundamentally wrong with that, and that comes from the powers above in FG and FF.

I know there are plenty of instances where it's being abused by part time workers or students, but I am referring more so to those in full time employment.

All the rules and budgets we have adhered to, were made by a Government that was not elected for this term. We even have a Social Welfare Minister Regina Doherty who is no longer a TD. The opposition - who ever they, are as silent as Harpo Marx.

Why is there no talk about all the money we are still borrowing? Why are Public servants getting full pay for doing half or no work? Why are we not getting figures for HSE taking over Private Hospitals?

Sinn  Féin want the €350 kept for everyone till the end of the year.
Government reviewing it so expect the Students, part time workers etc getting a cut.
Private Hospitals allegedly costing €115m per month.
As for no discussions on things.... maybe there is something else dominating life and conversations  these days (outside the Bunker that is)

Most public servants are working, perhaps driving testers aren't, and many have been redeployed.
The Private Hospital thing was a complete debacle, as for doctrinaire reasons they only offered a contract to the doctors than prevented them treating their existing patients while consultants for public hospitals continued to treat private patients, or at least have the possibility to do so. No doubt there will be nobody will be identified as being responsible for this.
