So the DNC server was hacked. The Associated Press (an impartial source??) "sketched out an anatomy of the hack......" and ".....drew on forensic data to report Thursday that the hackers known as Fancy Bear were closely aligned with the interests of the Russian government." Has this detail been produced anywhere or do we need to take the the AP's word for it? I mean is there a proven link between Fancy Bear and the Russian Government? I'd imagine the Russian government had plenty of dirt on Clinton a month later after the leak was made public.

The question is did the Trump campaign in any way shape or form co-ordinate the release of the embarrassing emails with the Russians?

Several people on Trumps campaign had interactions with Russians...eg Flynn, Manafort etc.  My understanding is that they made have lied to or misled the FBI as it pertained to these points of contact. All indications are (from what I have seen and read) is that these overtures were all about them lining their own pockets and currying favor rather than influencing the outcome of the election.

The DNC are trying to use this investigation as a way of explaining away Trumps victory and delegitimizing his Presidency.

But the AP drew on forensic evidence according to the link. They actually carried out the investigation.

Stormy Daniels is no longer bound by a non-disclosure contract after Mr Trump's lawyer admitted he paid her, manager Gina Rodriguez says.

Mr Trump's personal lawyer confirmed in a statement to media he privately paid Ms Daniels $130,000 (£95,000) in 2016.

Ms Rodriguez says that acknowledgement allows her client to speak freely.
