I've been to two games so far this year, for two draws. What are the odds on that.

I still believe Brett Kirk kicked a goal.  :o

Thursday, April 24.

Tadhg Kennelly's insists that he has made no decision on whether his future lies with the Sydney Swans or playing Gaelic football with his native Kerry.

It was reported earlier this month that Kennelly was ready to make a dramatic return to The Kingdom when his contract with The Swans runs out at the end of next season.

However, the 26-year-old is adamant that any plans to return home are very much in the long term.

"With the relationship I have with the club and around Sydney, it's going to be a decision that is just as hard as when I first decided to come out here," Kennelly said.

"Certainly, in the long-term I want to go home and win an All-Ireland title. That is still an ambition of mine."

There is a rumour going around that Tadhg Kennelly might be at the Swans longer than 2009. I hope this is true.

Another rumour is, that he's girlfriend isn't keen on settling in Ireland, and Tadhg is having second thoughts about going home.

Should be interesting to see what his decision is.

On another note, what a boring game yesterdays ANZAC day game was. Collingwood winning by 73 points, 23.16.154 to 12.9.81.

Paul Medhurst got the Anzac Medal for kicking 6 goals.

Fremantle and Geelong had a ripper of a game, the Cats came from behind to win by 1 point, after Matthew Pavlich missed a shot on goal

which hit the post with 2 minutes to go. At one stage in the 2nd quarter, the Dockers were 38 points in front, and in a 7 minute burst,

Geelong kicked 6 goals, and only trailled by 2 points. Very odd but enjoyable game.

You should be able to buy one from Ebay.

But if you buy from the Collingwood website, you'll be helping them out financially (Not that they need any help, since they're one of the richest clubs in Australia) but you get my drift.

I gave you a link to the Collingwood website, in a PM mate. AFL guernseys cost around $110

I thought it was right for Paul Roos to do. In the 1st half, he was shocking but Goodes did have a better 2nd half though.

I hope he hits top form soon, we have a tough game against North Melbourne, who we always seem to have close games.

This week, I am off to the North Melbourne v Sydney Swans game at the Telstra Dome.
Should be another good game. I'm hoping for a Swans win, but swaying towards the Kangaroos at this stage sadly.

In the end, the loss of Barry Hall, Nick Malceski and Tadhg Kennelly was too great to cover, and we ended up going down by 42 points.

Having said that, the margin didn't reflect the nature of the game. Geelong got a few late goals in the end, and the margin should have

been closer sadly.

Jarrad McVeigh continues to be a big improver for the Swans, he was probably our best today. Onya Macca!

Tadhg Kennelly looks like going to be a late withdrawal replaced by Luke Brennan. Damn, I don't think we have much chance of winning this game now.  :o

Round 5

Friday, Apr 18
St. Kilda vs. Essendon Telstra Dome 7:40 pm

Saturday, Apr 19
Geelong vs. Sydney Skilled Stadium 2:10 pm
Adelaide vs. Fremantle AAMI Stadium 2:40 pm
Brisbane Lions vs. Hawthorn Gabba 7:10 pm
Collingwood vs. Kangaroos MCG 7:10 pm

Sunday, Apr 20
Melbourne vs. Carlton MCG 1:10 pm
Western Bulldogs vs. Richmond Telstra Dome 2:10 pm
West Coast vs. Port Adelaide Subiaco 2:40 pm

Tough round to pick this week in the AFL.

My tips for Round 5.
St.Kilda should get over the line over an injury depleted Essendon line up. Scott Lucas being out for Essendon is hurting them, he's a star.
Geelong should account for Sydney at home in Skilled Stadium, but I am hoping that I am dead wrong with this tip. Don't be surprised if an upset occurs.
Adelaide in another game where I will be giving it to the home team. Could go either way this one.
Brisbane Lions in one of the toughest games of the round to pick. The Lions have the arsenal up forward to burst Hawthorn's bubble
North Melbourne in a must win game over Collingwood in another tough game this week.
Carlton should keep their winning ways against bottom of the ladder team Melbourne.
Western Bulldogs should keep their undefeated streak against an improving Richmond side.
West Coast Eagles should get over the line over a disappointing Port Adelaide. The loser of the game, will not make the finals.

I heard that these two teams are going to have a game at the end of the season.

I don't know the details but does anybody know for sure how this is going to work?

Would it be like the International Rules setup?

If so, I would like to see Dublin smash Collingwood.

I hate Collingwood with a passion. lol

First question why do you hate collingwood?
Secondly are you the real tadhg Kennelly :o?

I love Aussie rules, been watching last 5 yrs and really love it. Collingwood are my team black/white like Sligo. ;). I had a aussie mate when I worked in London (essendon fan) and he hated collingwood too. He said there widely disliked and I never was told WHY?

I hate Collingwood because their supporters are a group of bunch of ferals. I went to Collingwood v Sydney last year in Round 21, had the worst time ever. :O

Mainly because of their fans, seem so arrogant, I don't know why when their team are underachievers in the last 50 odd years.

But having said that, I do know some pretty cool Collingwood people though.

No, I am not Tadhg Kennelly, just a huge fan of him, and the Sydney Swans mate.

I was watching them last night and they played well. I see Tadhg is loosing the hair ;) the we Friar tuck :D

C'mon the Swans

Thanks for the info, I dont know any collingwood fans but I am loyal and wouldnt jump ships now, I always keep an eye out for the irish lads aswell, big fan of tadhg meself, great full back for the swans and did brilliant when they won the grand final except that jig ::).

Tadhg Kennelly isn't our full-back mate, he plays on the half-back flank. That's usually a different role to a full-back. Our full-back is Leo Barry or Craig Bolton depending on the match up.

Wasnt he not full back when yee won the AFL, maybe im wrong on that? Hes obviously changed position since then and It was couple of yrs ago now. I havnt been able to access the AFL website for a while. Setanta getting the rights on it from Sky was disaster for my viewing, seem to always away when its on TG4 late at night. I know collingwood lost to carlton not so long back with ohalpin and clarke getting runs but playing poorly.

Nah, he was never our full-forward mate. Just one of our half back flankers.
