An ill judged trip to Barbados in the middle of a pandemic seems to have finished him off.

Would lay that at his family's door, can't imagine he had much to do with it. A freebie by all accounts, but yes very ill advised

Very much so. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Heard recently of a covid death as a result of a family getting together for dinner around Xmas.

Great, great actor. Been in a quite a few decent supporting roles in recent years too for a man in his 80s. Knives Out last year. Only last week I saw The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo for the first time.

Saw him on Broadway about 15 years ago. Himself and the also-excellent Brian Dennehy in Inherit The Wind, a play about the Scopes Monkey Trial.

He also did a great turn as a Star Trek villain, hamming it up with lots of Shakespeare in Star Trek IV as a Klingon general.

He certainly did. The Merchant of Venice quote he used in the battle scene.

"Tickle us, do we not laugh? p***k us, do we not bleed? Wrong us, shall we not revenge.

Legend. Only 67 too. The Spinks and the Klitschko's the only brothers to be heavyweight champions. Only the Spinks bros were unanimous though and did it by beating "the man".
