Sad news but not very surprising, he's looked like a walking heart attack since the last few seasons of The Sopranos. Loved his Virgil in True Romance as well - the part that must have got him Tony Soprano.

Yep that part is often overlooked, talk about menacing. Hard to believe he was only 37 when the Sopranos started in 1999.
