Feared the worst when I seen his recent pictures leaving hospital. Legendary songwriter and unique singing voice.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

his one hurts.  So long, Shane, and thanks for the memories.  The missus and I had our wedding dance (by a nice coincidence) to Rainy Night in Soho.

RIP. The voice of Christmas

Cunny Funt

Had the pleasure of seeing Shane and the Pogues live in the old point depot two decades ago and was the among my most favourite gigs to attend. The man was a pure talent for music RIP

RIP Shane. His passing will most definitely dim the Christmas spirit for many.

As for Kissenger, he can rest in p*sh.

RIP Shane. Hopefully he falls into Heaven

Seen a photo of him recently and he didn't  look great.  Very sad news.

I think people liked him not only because of his music , but he spoke his  mind.  Typical example  here, at 53:50

He was a very  intelligent, an intellectual, a poet and  a musical genius I would say. I absolutely love the  Pogues music.  So many brilliant songs

RIP Shane. You have left  one hell of a legacy.

I would say the fella was a genius probably more than just musically. I think tbh based on photos of the last few months that it's not a surprise but still sad all the same. RIP.
