Quote from: AustinPowers on Today at 05:45:33 PMI was watching a bit of Michelle O'Neill answering questions at that covid enquiry.I haven't followed the minute detail either, very few do, and that's Sinn Féin's problem with this. It just came across as a fully blown Republican funeral for one of their own with SF leadership at the helm and two fingers to the rules, while many others had to bury their family member and abide by horrendous restrictions. One law for them, and another for everyone else, and it left a very bitter taste for many. It's that simple.
I haven't really followed the minute details of the Bobby Storey funeral fallout , so here's my question....,,,,
MON said she was invited to the funeral as part of a group of 30 mourners (which was the limit at the time.)
So, what exactly is the issue with her attending? If she was one of 30 invited, surely she was allowed given that this was the number allowed at funeral services at the time?
If more people entered the church (making it above the number allowed) , then surely that's the church's responsibility to control that, not MON or any other of the mourners?
Or am I missing something here?
