A minutes silence was impeccably observed at Ibrox tonight for the victims of Hillsborough.
Fair play.
Why fair play? Surely this would normal behaviour? Commendations for not being scumbags?

RTE & TV3 are both an embarrasment tripping over themselves to put MU on on every ocassion, only thing that trumps it is TV3 & their Dubs obsession. All commercially driven off course, but still w**k.

Worlds on at the minute, TT 2moro with Tony Martin 4/7 in a weak lookin field, no Wiggins, Cancellara & Froome pulled out today, Contador @ 9/2 could be his only threat ( & he mite be saving himself for the roadrace on Sunday).

I've Tommy Voeckler backed EW @ 20's for the road race.

Monday 3rd September
Armagh Minor Football Championship
Semi Finals:
St Patricks Cullyhanna 1-10  Killeavy 2-11

Dromintee 0-13  Grange 0-15

Probably showing my ignorance of Armagh underage football here but would I be right in saying that Grange getting to the Final is a bit of a shock? Would they traditionally be an underage force?

You're correct, Grange have always been among Junior / Int ranks, improving at underage with increasing numbers to choose from, Harps beat them in the 1st round last year in what was regarded as a potential final, so they are strong. Killeavey have been strong at U16 & minor for a few years & no doubt feel they are due one.

That's dear, i've flirted with the idea, but my back isn't in great shape & a proper set up for someone my size probably wouldn't work for me because of it.

Read Stephen Roche's Born to Ride, very good read if you like the bikes. Also have Nico's Inside the Peleton to get through.

Gerry, I have the Fondo now as well (after my Stealth lost a row with a pothole - Ribble replaced the whole show within 2 weeks, 2 year guarantee on the frame).  It's a fine machine, I went down a size on the frame and took a while before I got comfortable again.

High 5 zero tablets do the job for me in regards to cramp, just drop 1 or 2 into your bottles.

Walsh & Kimmages' musings should come with health warnings, Kimmage's recent tirade against Sky during the tour was a near word for word rehash of what Walsh was spouting a decade ago. It carried an element of pyschological blackmail - open yourselves to the media & prove you're not using drugs type nonsense. When i read that i actually thought he was a bit unhinged tbh.

Fairly damning charges here in the official documents, I guess he knew the writing was on the wall.
http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/armstrongcharging0613.pdf

It will be interesting to see if they will finally be allowed to test all that blood again and prove the fact that he had the transfusion done.

For those that dont know, right now they cant re-test old blood with new technologies for testing against the transfusions.

One of the main reasons I always thought he was guilty is because they asked his permission (a few years ago) to retest his old blood samples to clear his name for once and for all, and he refused to allow them to do so (they require his permission to retest old samples).

It is funny how people will seek something to justify their original opinion, even when the evidence clearly disproves it. Does anyone seriously believe Lance just got sick of defending himself??! If you were accused of this, would you ever get sick of fighting such an injustice??
No. The chap fought cancer and embodied the never say die attitude. He simply didn't do giving up so the only possible conclusion is he didnt want any evidence against him in the public domain.
The 'evidence' will come out anyway, USADA have said as much, plus They didn't take it this far not to get their Day in the Sun.
