Any of the rugby heads ever stayed near Twickenham in London? Finding it a bit difficult so any suggestions greatefully accepted, the more cheap and cheerful the better!
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

QuoteHere are some local hotels in the area, all easily accessible (to Twickenham) by trains, and all not far from train stations (at most about a 10 min walk)

Premier Inn, Chertsey Road, Twickenham (this is the nearest to the ground, a 10 min stroll down the road!)

Best Western, Upper Richmond Road, Putney (midway between Wandsworth Town and Putney train stations)

Travelodge, 200 York Road, Battersea (nearest station Wandsworth Town)

Travelodge, Brentford (called the Kew Bridge Hotel) (nearest station Brentford)

Jury's Inn, Chelsea (though it's not really in Chelsea! It's behind Wandsworth bridge) (nearest station probably Wandsworth Town)

Ibis, Earls Court

now, I've never stayed in any of these, so cannot guarantee them, but if you don't want to be staying in central London, these are all near Twickenham and Richmond, and there are lots of pubs and eating establishments. I have no idea what the waspies are doing after the game, probably going home, as they all live so far away!
