They might not be able to build a stadium on the ashes of Casement but by f**k can they run a coaching conference.
Great day in Cookstown on Saturday...Donie Buckley and John Morrison would be the standout coaching sessions, with John Morrison having the edge..
300 delegates attended (i think there was another event run by Antrim on the same day....)

GAA Discussion / conor mortimer

From GAA.ie
Conor Mortimer has quit the Mayo football panel on the eve of Sunday's Connacht football final against Sligo.

The veteran forward was left out of the side for their semi-final win over Leitrim and failed to win back his place for the decider with Enda Varley getting the nod at corner forward.

Mortimer overcame a career threatning injury just two seasons ago to return to the Mayo fold, but now looks set now to concentrate on his club football with Parnells in Dublin.

GAA Discussion / Miskella cleared to play in Final
August 27, 2009, 09:21:27 AM
Cork's John Miskella is free to play in the All-Ireland SFC final after referee John Bannon stood by his original punishment in Sunday's semi-final.
Bannon was given an opportunity by the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee to review an off-the-ball incident in Sunday's game.
Miskella appeared to strike Tyrone's Brian McGuigan during the second half.
The Longford man decided that the yellow card imposed at the time was the correct sanction.
Bannon took the decision following a review of the match tape.

I'm glad - even as a Tyrone Fan - Bannon was shit and his legacy should end at the semi final.
