No what the keeper should have done was walk away from the situation as the large number of stewards and police who were already making there way onto the pitch did their job. I acknowledge at least one steward cocked up in letting the fan get onto the pitch in the first place but that in no way gave the keeper the right to kick him as he lay on the ground. At that stage the keeper was in no way defending himself he was simply seeking retribution for what the fan had done on him.  He assaulted the fan at that point and I really do hope he faces charges. I have no doubt that if it had happened here he would be.

BC whilst it was at worst a 47 the courts have been clear recently a kick to a man on the ground should carry a suspended custodial sentence.

Proof if ever it were needed.....The Law is an ASS :D

Our thoughts are now that both Dónal Nugent and Ronan McCafferty make returns to full health as quickly as possible.

Anyone play with wilson golf clubs...just came across this website/deal that is on offer..great looking set from the pictures...any advice??

http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/golf_packages/wilson/1200_xcg_complete_package_golf_packages/p11202

At that price you couldn't go wrong...first set I ever had were Wilson (mind you that's 35 years ago) and they were grand.

Now I play these when I get the chance to play

Sounds like a messing match.  You might be safer picking up a cyclocross bike, can do ur off roading & would be a decent 'winter' road trainer

Ok just look after the staples then!! :D

Hit the deck today for the first time, that would put manners on you :-[ Not my fault - 2 fellas in front came down and I went into the back of one of them, sommersaulting hoogerland style over them, coming out of the clipless pedals mid air and landing on my side, wasn't too bad at the time (felt a bit sick for a couple of minutes) hip & elbow getting worse as the hours pass.  An oul doll was right behind us in her car, the look on her face was priceless.

OK .....you can count the paper clips tomorrow!! :D

Power NI (NIE) increasing the electricity bill (direct debit) from £76 to £123 a month from January. Cnuts!  :'(

Can't be right...

Refuse to have it increased...they base this on your use at the moment...which is obviously greater than during the summer....if you know what your bill was for the previous 12/24 months...then work out the average cost and agree to pay it.
