Look at the money they arent getting though because people cant tax the car. Think they actually increased mot price lately which is madness

It's farcical at the minute with MOT and Tax. Two different bodies who don't appear to have any communication whatsoever. Zero common sense between these two departments but sure what else would you expect.

Pretty sure all these Insurance companies end up back with about 4/5 multi national huge companies.
I would doubt even London would have the clout to do anything about it, even if the will was there to do something, which there isn't.

There was an article a few weeks ago that the FCA were to meet with the Treasury to see if anything could be done

The local MLAs are being put under some pressure to sort out at least some of the ongoing debacle re. these Victoria Square apartments. Apparently these people have been paying rates since 2019 for properties they can't use.

For those of you chaps in the game, if there are definite structural defects in the apartments, how can *nobody* be held liable? The 2 big construction companies involved seem to have denied all liability.
