Would love to see Camross rattle Naas but can't see them getting within 10 points tbh

No. Naas are good.

The Harps for the 'A' and Castletown for the 'B'.

Camross always love being written off. Should be an even enough game, especially in O'Moore Park.
The A and B final will go either way.

Quote from: Spiritof1915 on October 09, 2023, 10:49:15 AMCamross were never going to lose that game, especially after last year's no show.
Abbeyleix were poor. Game was effectively over after 5 mins. Was it nerves or being over hyped. Maybe a bit of both.

Just watched back the final on Clubber. Camross were fairly ruthless and game was over after 10-15 mins realistically. Abbeyleix will hopefully learn quickly for their sake and will be first of many senior finals over next few years.
Heard the minor final was very entertaining as curtain raiser.
Abbeyleix will probably be more likely to win an intermediate title than a senior over next 2-3 years with crop coming through and a decent side regardless.

Has there been any more talk on a hurling revamp to 10 teams at senior and below or is it just mere pub talk?

Ballyfin Portlaoise will be a close game in Premier Intermediate though will do very little once promoted.

Very lucky to scrape a draw, I think that makes us officially the worse senior football team in Ireland

Should be absolutely embarrassed with themselves. Blame management all you like players have to step up. They're the ones playing. Not good enough.

How bad are Laois? Or are London decent?

Laois are awful.

Barrowhouse, Annanough and Kilcavan all doing well here and all have brought some good young players through in the last year or two.

Will be a competitive Junior A championship including The Rock. Surely a first team has to win it this year.

Offaly on a steep upward curve.  U20 Leinster on top of last years minor win.

If the will is there, there is a way.

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if they win a senior All Ireland title within the next decade and I bet that's their ambition. If Offaly can do it, is there any reason why we can't achieve some success?

Offaly Senior all Ireland in the next decade ???? There's not a snowballs chance in hell that will happen

Galway winning plenty of titles at underage and have only 1 senior All Ireland in 30 odd years in the hurling. A big ask for Offaly but can certainly try. How they accommodate younger players at senior will be a bigger challenge.

OFFALY: Eamonn Cleary; Conor Hardiman, Ben Conneely, James Nally; Dara Maher, Killian Sampson, Eoghan Parlon; Paddy Delaney, Jack Screeney; Liam Langton, Joey Keenaghan, Conor Langton; Cathal O'Meara, Shane Dooley, John Murphy.

Subs: Stephen Corcoran, Paddy Clancy, Eimhin Kelly, David King, David Nally, Jack Clancy, Jason Sampson, Ciaran Burke, Brian Duignan, Sam Bourke, Joe Hoctor

Laois need to win their own game first. At least put them in with a chance of getting through. Never an easy task in Tralee.

Last year, Sheehan took advantage of the TC to introduce some under 20s to his team. Although Laois lost to Westmeath in the opening round, those young guys didn't do at all badly. I hope he does so again this year.

Some 20s brought into panel after exiting championship. Will be interesting alright wherher theyre blooded. I believe the seniors played Wexford in a challenge match last week when minors were playing. Didn't hear the result. Hopefully give a good account of themselves in the TC.

DDG - Out
Maguire - Out
Jones - Out
Elanga - Out
Martial - Out
Weghorst - Out

Sancho - Should be out, useless

Dalot & AWB, shocking choice to make, both duds

Add Telles, Brandon Williams, Bailly and Dean Henderson. Van de Beek back to Ajax would probably be best. Hasn't worked out.  Missing a few more no doubt !

Great results for Utd!! They'll need them considering they'll have to play own goal Maguire!
Any news on Varane/Shaw? Take it Martinez is out for the foreseeable ffs. Is Lindelof fit?

Could Rio Ferdinand come out of retirement? Anything is better than slab head.

Bring bag big Phil Jones  ::)

The mgr must accept blame for that result as well.. taking of Fernandez on 60 mins.. flip me. Utd had zero attacking threat last 15 mins.. Another 10 mins and that would've ended 4-2 to Sevilla.. Utd couldnt get out of their own half

Poor result should have been out of sight in 2nd half. Went to sleep at the critical time and only themselves to blame. Shows the need for a no9 in the summer. Elanga's days are numbered and will probably be sold in the summer. Same with Martial.  Malacia very poor for first goal.
Hopefully Martinez injury isn't as serious as it looked. Doesn't look great.
A reaction at the weekend and hopefully get themselves a win next week. Have my doubts after that capitulation tonight.

Butchering a good few chances but should open up in the 2nd half. Hopefully Keenan is ok after the hit.

Hogg very lucky not to get a yellow. Dropping Luke flies but good battling all the same. Will go to the wire!

Frenkie De Jong rejected Man United all summer to play Champions League football just to get knocked out by Man United in the Europa League.

Hopefully have enough in the tank for Sunday and next few weeks fatigue will start to show.
