100%. Onana and Antony wouldn't get on for championship teams ffs.

Bright points- Mainoo is gonna be a top player and Hojlund is coming good at last

They let a really bad Wolves side back into it. Gave away a very silly penalty. Bruno in first half gave away a FK similar to what he did against Galatasaray which resulted in them getting back into that game. We just can't learn from mistakes.
Onana simply isn't good enough. DeGea saves that last goal easy. Only for Martinez kicking one of the line we'd have drew or poss lost that game. He came for a FK and once again flapped. What EtH sees in him I'll never know.

EtH was playing 5 at the back and conceded an equaliser. Committing CBs to a corner then getting caught on the break because Antony gave the ball away. He gave every single possession away when he came on. Losing leads in last few minutes is EtH MO. He did the same at Ajax against Spurs. He hasn't got the cunning to see a game out.

I'm worried for EtH. JR won't watch that and think great job. He'll watch that and think this team is a f**king joke. City, Arsenal win those games 4 or 5 nil.

EtH has bought Antony and Onana and honestly they are two of the worst Utd players ever. If he continues to pick them regularly he'll be gone in the summer. Ole done the same with Maguire and it cost him his job. You have to be prepared to be ruthless and drop these poor performers.

Agree.  They are his signings and he is trying to justify them by trying to play them into form, but it just ins't happening.  He needs to be ruthless and bench them, or risk going himself.

What has happened with Maguire? He seems like he was playing alright only to be benched again?

I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

Armagh18

Did Maguire not pick up a knock a while back? He hasn't a hope of getting in ahead of Martinez tbh.

The Beggan-Onana debate is settled, again last night yer man refused to use his arms and the ball rolls past him off his chest.

As for Anthony, in GAA parlance he's Junior B all day long, hard to believe it was possible but Utd have signed an even bigger white elephant than Fellaini all those years ago.

Onana couldn't save an excel sheet ffs.

Fellaini had his moments to be fair to him.

According to Opta, of the 17 outfield players to have completed more than 500 minutes for United this season, Rashford's distance covered per 90mins is joint lowest - with Harry Maguire - on 9.7km.

..that stat alone would drive anynody to the drink

Not a really bad Wolves team at home this season. That was their first defeat in Molineux Stadium since September 3-1 v Liverpool who scored two late goal to secure the win.

They beat Man City 2-1 and a game City had as many shots as United last night. They haven't played Arsenal at home this season yet but only lost 2-1 away to them which suggests they'll get nothing easy in Molineux.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Crazy game, but I will take that over the dross we have endured all season so far.

Yes pick holes in it for the second half but the first half was as good as they have been at any point under ETH.

One more piece of controlled play or a better finish they go 3 nil up and the game is done.

Way more positives than negatives last night.

Dont be fooled by this bullshit that it was only Wolves, GO'N has them tactically very good and are unbeaten at home since September.

Up to 6th, should make a good push for Top 4 now.
Tomorrow is promised to no one.

A very good win and they played some great football at times. Hojlund seems to have settled in well now. Martinez now out injured and Maguire is always a worry when he plays. Has a number of clangers in him. Doubtful they'll get anywhere near top 4.

RedHand88

Martinez has a touch of the Naby Keita about him. Seems to spend half his time in the treatment room.

Cunny Funt

Top 4 or 5 chances will be much harder task if Martinez is ruled out for the rest of season. Totally different team with him in the side and no like for like replacement.

Hojlund 21 (yesterday) Garnacho 19 and Mainoo 18 are three young players to build the team around in the years ahead.

The game at Villa park could be quite important

A win there would give momentum for the first time in ages.

Reports there now on twitter saying he's out for 6-8 weeks. Not as bad as some thought but still a massive blow
