Peyton visiting Denver??  :o

Giants have released both Brandon Jacobs and Mario Manningham

Colts have released Addai and Clark, two excellent pass catchers.

Clark will turn up wherever Manning will be. Freeney is on the trading block as well. A complete overhaul at the Colts.

Rasharkin 1-10 Castledawson 0-11.

Rasharkin were well worth their victory.

Castledawson got the majority of their scores from frees and it seemed they were always chasing the game even though they were leading at half time.

I haven't missed one since 88 so I will be staying up. Tomorrow booked off work and all. It should be a high scoring game so it should keep the novice viewer interested.

Awful game and you can't blame it all on the condtions. The passing and shooting is woeful.

Meath are very disappointing. Kerry doing enough.

Hopefully they show the replay of the penalty incident at half time but Cooper seemed to go down spreadeagled after very little contact

I was thinking that myself. He wasn't going to get the ball anyway.

Can't believe the first yellow, that's ridiculous! If you were going to bring a player down you wouldnt dive in with your legs like that! Common sense.  Second one just as ridiculous and then Dooher gets a close in free for nothing.

Mulligan diving. McGuigan trying to get Miskella sent off ....basically Tyrone up to their usual shite. Good to see them get what they deserved for their blatant cheating.

Aidan O'Mahony?

As a Bengals fan last night brought back horrible memories of Superbowl 23 when they scored too early and Montana marched the 49's down the field to score the winning TD with 34 seconds to go.

I t was really exciting but I was gutted for the Cards. I felt it was the Steelers year about 12 weeks into the season because everything seemed to be going for them. It turned out that way in the play-offs with the Colts and the Titans bowing out of the AFC and the Giants and Panthers biting the dust in the NFC.

It's a pity Dockett couldn't have got to Ben just one more time at the start of that last drive and maybe just have backed them up a bit further.

our boys turned up for a fixture, we gave Rasharkin 3 up and they went on to score an OG to level it, was a funny goal.

headed up to watch Johnnies v Lamhs poor enough encounter, big crowd up to watch Lamhs become a jubior club, div 3 hurling div 2 football!!!!  ah well always next year to regroup

I got the feeling there won't be many tears shed around Milltown at Lamh Dhearg's demise!

Were they up to a lot of dirty tricks at the county final?

Rasharkin beat Galls by 3 and stay up. The got St Galls at the best possible time. Lamb Dhearg make the trip to division 2. Some poetic justice there after what happened in the Championship semi-final. Not even Padraig Mullan could save them today although he did play about 5 minutes injury time.

I wonder will there be a re-structuring of the league, which normally happens when a big team gets relegated.

i recently watched a dvd called '100 years of australian football' and they talk about the grand final of 1989 which was also between geelong and hawthorn. apparently 12 players had to be taken to hospital that day and the 'dipper' played on with a punctured lung after a collision with gary ablett!

You can buy that match off e-bay. It's some game. Dermott Brereton got hit as the ball was thrown in and played on with cracked ribs.

As a Hawthorn fan I am delighted with todays result. Good to see Shane Crawford have his day in the sun. There are more flags in that team. They are very young.

Cheers lads. I am sure we will find our way around a few of those. It always helps to have a general idea of a few decent places so the flock can be pointed in the right direction.

Letting it runs it's course always worked for me. The guts could be real bad after a weekend bender but once the appetite came back I could eat for Ireland. Drink plenty of water.

Unfortunately the depression is par for the course, particularly when the memory is a bit sketchy. Try and keep your brain activated for a few days to stop your mind working overtime wondering what you did.

If you can't sleep with the depression, you are in the dark room, the lonliest place in the world. I hate when that happens. One minute you are warm, the next you are freezing and the only start sleeping about half an hour the alarms goes of.

General discussion / Watering holes in Sligo town.

I am for a stag do in Sligo over the weekend and we are looking for a few places to go to. There is going to be about a dozen of us and we will be looking for a few places to take in at night.

Some of us won't be down until 8pm so we will need a pub or club that opens late to get some value out of our evening.

The cleintelle are all over 25 but we are all culchies so we don't want anything too swanky or anything that plays rave music or whatever you call it nowdays.
