Real always win. They just always win. They aren't even that good.

So...
Keeper lands awkwardly, gets up and taylor waves play on as the keeper is obviously OK.
Keeper rolls it out and starts absent mindedly playing with his socks, has a brain fart.
Gakpo tries to capitalise and THEN the referee blows his whistle. Why? Just reasons.
Taylor goes over to the confused keeper and tells him to go to ground (!) and wait as he then signals for the physio for the non existent injury.

Have I got any of it wrong?

Quote from: gawa316 on April 27, 2024, 05:12:09 PMIs Taylor in the shit? What was he doing? Gakpo should've put the ball away regardless
Whistle had gone. West Ham would have said "we stopped playing" question is why did the whistle go. Almost like manchesters Anthony Taylor might not like the reds

Clutching
So he's probably just incompetent then

I was listening on the radio and they explained it well enough.

Did they? Care to enlighten us because nobody, fan or pundit, seems to have a clue why Taylor did what he did.

Quote from: Tony Baloney on April 26, 2024, 11:00:34 PMA lot of people have been to Oz. On paper it's a place I'd like to have visited but the getting there is very off putting for someone who hates flying. How many 1 hr flights would it take?!

Depending on route its 25-30 hours all in to the east coast. Look, its not nice, and it takes a few days at least to adjust to the complete reversal of night and day, but you get there in the end.
Airlines are very good and look after you as much as they can with the adjustment by making it look like night time in the cabin when it should be night time etc. But it's strange seeing the sun rise then sink 3 or 4 hours later.

Quote from: An Watcher on April 26, 2024, 07:23:18 AMStumbled across this show Manifest on Netflix.  First few episodes not bad but seen there are over 50 of them.  Not sure whether to stick with it

It gets very silly very quickly.

Quote from: An Watcher on April 26, 2024, 10:05:29 AMFolks, honestly, do you think we have much if a chance on Sunday? I honestly don't think we have.  Obviously there is the McGuinness factor and they'll be buzzing after last week.
I know we played div 1 but we're very young and have plenty of injuries.  Donegal on the other hand have boys who have been around the block and will now be playing to a system.  After a number of years our boys don't seem to have any system
I think last week we had our best team out from the start and had very little to bring off the bench.  I would like to see maybe mcshane to start on Sunday so that a fresher set of legs coukd come on later to do damage.

Nah Donegals to lose, no point showing up to a hammering. Donegal way above us.

Hopefully they read this forum.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 25, 2024, 11:09:53 AMSeen some tosser making a dick of himself outside the courtroom when Donaldson came out. Some people do anything to post online.

Major c**k up by the police to bring him out and no transport. Saw a photo of that man and he looks exactly like you expect him to. Bryson seems to think he's a republican.

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on April 25, 2024, 01:06:54 PMHow many fist pumps will he finish off with at the Kop?

I hope he brings the team down and stand in a line at the Kop end to finish off, that for me was the turning point in his early career at Liverpool

One for every time we finished 2nd in a League/Cup. Could be there a while.

Quote from: Tones on April 24, 2024, 10:46:06 AMFirstly it would be valuable to put a phone queue system in place to say you have reached such and such surgery you are now 15 in the queue, it would help a lot of folk especially older folk and give you some semblance of getting somewhere instead of redialling 100 times only to be told there is no appointment.  I would save some appointments each morning for very vulnerable people who ring in after the 8.30 deadline so they can be seen the next morning, it would be great if a doctor rang back instead of a receptionist to say go to A&E instead they are so protected it's impossible to get speaking to them.

Alot of surgeries have this already, but it depends on the number of phone lines coming in to the building. Digital lines are able to cover as many as you want pretty much and will be the norm in 5 years or so.

It also doesn't improve your chances of getting an appointment. There will still be the same amount of people dealt with in a day.

Quote from: Tones on April 24, 2024, 10:25:14 AMWhat a ridiculous statement - axe to grind!  The title is GP's & Hospitals - What is going on - the answer is you cannot get a GP appointment and everyone is ending up at A&E and hence its all fucked!

I don't know what you expect surgeries to do though. Do you want them to see people to 12 o clock at night everyday? There are only physically so many people who can be dealt with in one working day.
