Unimaginable. I can't believe it. How would you live with yourself?
The worst I have done is drive halfway to work with one in the back of the car and I can totally imagine how it would happen if you were in autopilot and the baby was sleeping. You'd worry about that lad as I don't know how you shake that off.

That's brutal.  Anyone who has kids could see how it could happen with a child that age sleeping. Given the age of the child you would imagine that she had probably only started going to creche recently so it wasn't routine yet for the dad to be dropping her off.  99% of the time he would have returned back to an irate, hungry but otherwise healthy baby  but it had to happen on the hottest day of the year.

RIP and God help the family

David Niven in Casino Royale was not part of the Eon franchise who would not take it on for many years so the producer did his own thing.  Much more comedic even than the official series.

So Roger Moore is the first Bond to have died then   ??

Basically, it depends on how you define James Bond.

End of an era.  Sadly succumbed to Alzheimer's.

His family statement:

"John Noakes, died peacefully on Sunday morning May 28th. He had endured and suffered from Alzheimer's over recent years and whilst he will be greatly missed by his wife,  family and many friends his release from continuing ill health must be counted as a blessing.

"His many escapades with his faithful companion Shep,  during his time with Blue Peter, will live on in many peoples memories and that is how his family would like him remembered."

He was game heading up those ladders. You wouldn't get many if any to do that these days.

His enthusiasm was incredible. RIP
